Winn Partners Financial Group – A Little Clarification

Winn partners Logo social

We are very grateful and encouraged by the feedback we’ve gotten so far on the formalization of the Winn Partners Financial Group.  We’ve noticed a few common themes in some of the questions we’ve received. So now that the dust has settled (at least a little bit) from the Holidays, we’d like to take a moment to dig a little deeper into some of the details of the team. In essence, we want to touch on “What does this mean to me? “

Q: “Now that you have formalized to Winn Partners Financial Group, what happens/happened to IAA?

A: International Assets Advisory (IAA) is our “mother-ship” so to speak. IAA continues to be the trusted Broker Dealer/Registered Investment Advisory firm we’ve worked with for many years. In fact, Jeff continues to be a Managing Partner of IAA. As Winn Partners Financial Group, we are a team of advisors devoted to working with our clients under the umbrella of IAA.

Q: “What changes will I see? “

A:   Optically, you will notice that our logo has been updated on future statements and other correspondence. We will also be updating our team’s website (www.winnpfg.com) and will continue to add new information to it in the weeks and months ahead. From a practical standpoint, very little will change for you in terms of how you contact us or how you log into account information.

You still work with your team of Jeff, Ken, Shelby and Tara; and our phone numbers haven’t changed at all. For organization sake, our primary email addresses will now use the suffix of @winnpfg.com. We have arranged for anything sent to us at the previous @iaac.com suffix be forwarded, so there is no need to change any contact information you might have saved. Please know, however, that it is likely that we will receive emails first from the @winnpfg.com suffix, so we would encourage you to use those going forward.

Your account(s) online access remains intact as well. You can log into your account information at either www.iaac.com or www.winnpfg.com. We would encourage you to bookmark www.winnpfg.com and log into your account information from that site. The Client Login tab is marked in red in the upper right hand corner of the homepage. From there, you follow the exact same steps you always have.

Q: “Why?

A: Behind the scenes, Ken and I (Jeff) have worked together for well over ten years.  Over those years we’ve formed a great friendship that is founded on mutual respect of each other’s dedications, passions, and skills; both in our careers as well as our personal lives. Until now we never actually merged our businesses.  Instead, we just collaborated regularly and went about our separate business days.

A couple years ago we finally got a little smarter and decided to formalize a working relationship, merge our businesses, and create a synergy that would hopefully better serve our clients and ourselves alike.  In the center of this synergy was Shelby, my highly valued assistant for more than five years to that point.

Ken and Shelby are far more than mere business associates in my mind, they are partners.  They have been for quite a while, and we are all excited to work together to best serve our clients in the many years ahead.  Having this formal partnership allows us to get more productive hours out of our days by better delineating roles, sharing workloads as necessary, and collaborating on best practices for our clients.  As a result, we will have more time to dedicate to areas of our services that might have been overlooked or underutilized thus far.

If you have any questions, please don’t ever hesitate to give us a call. We are always happy to help in any way possible.

We hope your holidays have been filled with special times with family and friends and wish you all the best in the New Year and beyond!
